Osmanthus-scented Agar-agar

I got a packet of dried Sweet Osmanthus flowers (桂花) from HangZhou, China. This flower is also ‘city flower’ for HangZhou.  I like the fragrant of it very much. It is similar to the scent of ripe peaches. It smells delicious and it makes refreshing dessert.  I think we can easily get the flowers at Chinese medical shops.  Here is how I use it for making agar-agar (jelly) this CNY.

Osmanthus-scented agar-agar
Ingredients:
1 packet of agar-agar strips
2 table spoon of dried Osmanthus flowers
Sugar to taste

Preparation:
1. boil the agar-agar (jelly) as per the packet's instrument, add sugar to taste.
2. lower the heat, add in dried flowers and boil for 15 minutes.
3. pour it into a round tray and let cool before transfer into refrigerator
4. cut into small pieces before serving, serve cool.
