I made some 'Fook' 福 stencils papers to place on top of Nian Gao last night. I got this beautiful Chinese character stencil during my trip to Shanghai last year. I especially like to use this 'extremely' red paper (this paper can only be found at Chinese prayer material shop). When I see very RED paper, I feel very HAPPY.

ReplyDeleteI like that super-red paper too. It feels so traditional. We wrote 'dui-lian' (2 chinese saying which stick beside the door) every year although our calligraphy is ugly. :D
