Tree Planting

Few weeks ago, we joined a CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) program, organized by our local community. The highlight is tree planting. There were 100 trees planted on the event day.

Upon registration we were being allocated for 2 trees. The name of the trees are Shorea Leprosula and Melia Indica. I searched on Wikipedia later and found out that both are fast-growing tree and there are evergreen. Both trees will grow up to 30 meter high.

We were delighted to get the chance to participate in this meaningful event. To me, it is not only about planting a tree on the ground, but it is about planting a seed on caring for the environment in the heart of my children.
