We used to order a lot of goat's milk for our home daily consumption. Since then, I have been collecting lots of milk caps. These milk caps are wide and beautiful. There are no sharp edge and it is safe for kids to play. However, I have no idea on what to do with them. One day, I saw some cute puppies stickers in a bookshop and something that just struck my mind, to make a matching memory game for my children.
Milk Cap Matching Memory Game
Supplies:
milk caps x 16 pieces
stickers (there should be 2 identical stickers of each design)
plain cloth or card
Method:
1. I use the widest zig zag stitch to sew lines into square boxes on plain cloth
2. place sticker inside the cap. There should be two identical stickers of each design. Done.
How to play: There are many ways of playing the game. It is all depending on the challege levels one wishes to take. As for my children, who are aged 3 & 6, I showed them the easiest way of course. Arrange the cap with the stickers side down. Each player take turn to flip over one cap at a time. The player can keep them if they are matching together. The player with more caps wins.
Super creative...
