It is a box of traditional mooncakes I bought.
It is a box of tresures to me.
It brings back my childhood memory.
My kids were excited as they thought I bring home a box of chicken nuggests.
So, I will just keep the whole box for myself.
Since, no one will understand and appreciate it.
I will enjoy them one piece a day.
I will not care much about my waist line.
Afterall, it is only 12 pieces.
These minis are just precious to me.
As you all may know childhood taste is money can't buy.
And, not knowing whether I could still get it next year.
Oh I love them too and I can eat them every day :) My daughter loves these "doll" cookies too :)
ReplyDeletei like those oink oink ones which they put into colorful piggy basket
ReplyDeletethose are way too cute to eat!@
ReplyDeleteThat's funny that your kids thought they were chicken nuggets.
ReplyDeleteDo the mooncakes have a bean paste in them? They sell a similar looking pastry in Japantown shaped like a fish. We always enjoy eating them hot off the griddle.
Jessica, these mooncakes taste like soft cookies and has got red bean paste in it. I also like to eat the Japanese fish shaped hot cakes you are talking about.
ReplyDeleteThese traditional one are my favourite, it always remind me of my childhood! Nowadays it's hard to find liao, most with filling which I find it tad too sweet to my liking.
