Simply Fried Eggs with Onions
Ingredients:
4 tbsp cooking oil
2 large red onions, sliced
4 eggs, lightly beaten, add in salt and pepper
Methods:
1. Heat oil in wok.
2. Saute onions until soft and fragrant.
3. Add in beaten eggs and let it cook for 2 minutes.
4. Stir and turn the eggs until cook/ firm when press.
Variations:
You may add in chopped tomatoes, shrimps, crab meat, chopped basil leaf etc.
I cook this quite often too. The difference is that I will saute the onion and take out to mix with the lighty beaten egg ,then pour back again on the frying pan to fry.
ReplyDeleteOther than onions, I used long beans , ku chai ,tomatoes or chinese leek + red carrot ( omit pepper for this one ). Out of all , I love fried egg with diced leek + diced carrot the most !
