Do you see what I have on my Calamansi lime tree? Yes, there are lots of red bunnies on the tree. Try your hands and make some, it is just easy.
These bunnies are made from AngPow packets with the use of rabbit silhouette. You may use the old Ang Pow packets collected from previous year for this project. Have a happy and go green CNY.
Materials:
red Ang Pow packets
stappler
scissors
red string
Method:
1. put some glue inside Ang Pow packets and glue both pieces paper together, let dry.
2. place Ang Pow packet under each of the rabbit illustrations
3. stapple at the 'unwanted area' to secure papers from moving
4. follow the illustration line and cut out bunny shapes
5. punch a hole and tie with red string
How cute...and love what you cut them out of!!! You know, we have an Asian market here that has some packs of different kinds of papers in them...not expensive, and I have often thought I should buy them just to see what all is in there and see what could be done with them. I will pick up a pack and take pics and see if you can tell me anything about them. I will try to go over tonight and buy some. Maybe I will have a giveaway for a few packs...would be fun!
