Crispy Fried Prawns with Almonds

Tom loves deep fried and crispy food. I make this Crispy Fried Prawns with Almonds for him. It is easy and very little time is needed in cooking (as prawns cooked up quickly). It would be good for the reunion dinner.

Crispy Fried Prawns with Almonds
Ingredients:
1 cup vegetable oil
15 pieces of prawns
4 tbsp all purpose flour
2 tbsp water
1 cup sliced almonds
salt & pepper to taste

Method:
1. peel, devein and butterfly shrimp, leaving tails intact, pat dry and leave aside.
2. for batter, combine flour, water, salt and pepper, beat until smooth.
3. dip prawn into batter, press almonds over shrimp, coating all but tails.
4. put prawn to oil and cook until deep golden brown, let drain.
