Six Skirts at Six am

I started doing this when everybody in the house is asleep and completed them at 6am. I sewed six pieces of two tiered skirts for Amanda, as her birthday present. Come to think of it, Amanda is only four this year, I should have sewed four pieces instead, so that I could go to bed 2 hours earlier.

Two Tiered Skirt
Materials:
Top piece fabric: 44" x 12"
Bottom piece fabric: 44" x 5"
Elastic band: 1/2" and 19" long (Amanda's waist size)

Steps:
1. with the right side facing together, sew two pieces of fabric together.
2. sew the side seams together and form a tube.
3. hem bottom edge.
4. sew elastic casing, and done.
